Last year, Randy Freeman, a missionary to Swaziland and I were talking. He told me the story below. The question asked ripped my heart out since I am a father of three daughters.
As the class was being dismissed a 12 year old Swazi girl raised her hand.
'Yes' said the missionary
'I have a question.' Swazi girl
'Yes, what is it?' missionary
The Swazi girl continued, 'You tell us God wants us to honor our bodies and not have sex until we are married.'
'Yes, that is true.' the missionary replied
'And you tell us God wants us to obey our father and mother.' She continued
'Yes, that is true also.' the missionary responded
'So, which one is more important?' The girl asked
'Both are' the missionary responded
'So what am I suppose to do? My parents want me to have sex with the man down the road so he will plow our field for free.'
